Custom Action Figures
 I started customizing action figures in the summer of 2003, shortly
after I bought a
Marvel Legends Wolverine from the 3rd assortment of that line from Toy
Biz. Even though I had never stopped liking toys, it had been a
long time since I had bought any (being an adult and all). This
figure was the best representation of one of my favorite comic book
characters that I had ever seen in plastic. The only problem was his claws. The plastic was horribly bent out of shape - not what you'd expect from razor-sharp adamantium. I tried to straighten them myself, to no avail. Faced with failure, I did what any guy with a computer would do - I did a google search - and discovered action figure customizing. Since then, I haven't looked back. I've been buying more toys than my wife knows what to do with, and making custom action figures of the characters that I wished the toy companies would make.
