Custom Action Figures -
Marvel

Sure, I suppose you could say it was just a matter of time after making a Taskmaster that I'd end up making a Deadpool to go along with him. But you see, I hate Deadpool. Or at least I used to. He and all those freaks from X-Force and all that crap that Marvel spewed out in the mid-90's have been on the hate list for over a decade.
Then came the Marvel Legends Deadpool. Great figure, and the base for my custom. He came with a decent comic book where Deadpool fights the Hulk. Funny. I start looking for more to read. And dagnabbit, whaddaya know? I'm a fan. What's worse, I'm actually starting to like other guys from that era - I'm warming up to Bishop, and even Cable. But if I ever end up liking Gambit, I'm gonna hire Deadpool to off me.

Online retailer Corner Store Comics has posted new line-up information on their pre-orders pages for Marvel Legends Series 14 and Series 15.
The line-ups were headlined with "ToyBiz Gets The Mojo Flowing for the
14th Legends Wave!" and "2006 Looks to Be a Banner Year for Marvel
Legends Collectors!" for 14 and 15 respectively, leading to the
speculation that both series will be Build-A-Figure waves, with Mojo
and Hulk as the BAFs.
Up to this point, we've only seen the line-up for ML12 corroborated by an article in Toyfare #100. And while some sales boards for ML13 circulated the internet, no information has been previously leaked about ML14 and 15. This should be considered subject to change.

For
a self-professed fan of classic costumes, I guess I've been on a bit of
a modern streak recently. I was psyched to learn we would be
getting a Taskmaster in Marvel Legends 11, but was a little
disappointed when he was revealed to be in his classic costume. I
know him best in his modern look - I haven't read a lot of Avengers,
where Tasky first showed up, but on the recommendation of RoboKillah
picked up the Taskmaster miniseries and the subsequent Agent X series.
Both
are wildly entertaining reading, and show off Taskmaster as the true
badass that he is. I knew I had to make one for myself.
