The number 1 wall-crawler goes toe-to-toe with the pesky Beetle and faces the maniacal Doc Ock in this series of 6 inch action figures. Each Figure has an action feature that helps recreate battles between Spider-man and his infamous enemies. These 6 inch fully poseable Spider-man action figures are based on the Wall Crawler's classic comic book and animated adventures. Each figure comes with an accessory or has an exciting action feature. Buzzing Beetle requires 3 button cell batteries (not included). |

I
met Doubledealer online in the early days of my customizing hobby.
Of course, I knew of him before we met - I'm probably
understating it when I say he's a legend among customizers. A
year ago, I met him in person at the San Diego Comic Con. And
although this part of the story is for another time, I saved his life
(true story!)
This year, we both happened to be at SDCC again,
and we hung out with some of the guys from fwooshnet.com. On one
of the last days, DD pulls something out of his bag and hands it to
me. It's his Psylocke custom (see DD's original write-up here). He said something, but
honestly, I was too flabbergasted to register it. I like to think
he said "Thanks for saving my life."
Now, what do you do
when you have something in your possession that makes everything you've
done look like crap? She's so perfect I feel like nothing I'll
ever do will deserve to be on the same shelf. I figure the only
way to get past this is to take a bunch of pictures of it, post it, and learn
to live with my unworthiness. Consider this customs therapy.

Now THAT'S the DVD fans have been waiting for. |
We bought the standard edition (Sin City (2005), $17.99 at Amazon.com) that's been available for a few weeks - I thought it was a little barebones, but then I didn't know this beast was coming out. I'm really psyched to see the 21 minutes of extra footage. I'm hoping for more scenes with Carla Gugino!
It's available for pre-order at amazon.com - probably a good deal because of the free shipping plus no tax:

Back
when I first started reading comics, the powers-that-be at Marvel
hadn't yet come up with the notion that every mutant female's secondary
mutation was to be super-model hot - not just the heroic ones.
Rogue and Mystique, both villains at the time, were ugly, but neither
of them were as ugly as Callisto. Of course, Callisto is
super-model hot today, if you discount the octopus arms. I wanted
to capture her classic look when she was leader of the sewer-bound
Morlocks, fighting Storm, Colossus, and Nightcrawler.

SOTA Charmed Series 2 at Target? |

Found what looks to be like SOTA Charmed Series 2 Piper on the
target.com website. After a pretty thorough search (and by
thorough I mean 2 additional searches on their site) I couldn't find
either of the other two Charmed witches. It looks like
Distributoys, a wholesale supplier of toys, presumably, is getting this
line into additional channels. I'll keep my eye out for more SOTA
figures at target.com. |
